Description
The Arioso in G Major BWV 1056 first appeared as the first movement of Johann Sebastian Bach's Cantata BWV 156, composed in 1729. It is also the second movement of Bach's Concerto for violin (or oboe) in G minor, BWV 1056R and of Bach's Concerto for harpsichord in F minor.
This arrangement was made from the second movement (Largo) of Bach's Concerto for harpsichord in F minor, BWV 1056.
The Arioso in G Major is a beautiful piece that can be played almost anytime during the ceremony. You can use it as a prelude, a processional or anywhere you see fit.
